As owner, I personally have planned thousands of events in my 30 year career. I have planned weddings, concert tours, auto shows, trade shows, conferences, dinner parties, golf outing and much more. You can rest assured event details are something I even dream about.
A "day of" timeline is a crucial piece and communication for a seamless event. But who has the time or knowledge in your wedding party to be in all of the places you need to be that day? The marriage license signing, cake cutting, where do the florals go, the aisle runner won't lay down, cue the groomsman....all reasons to have someone handle these things for you.
Having been in the event industry for decades I have tried and true vendors that I work with locally. Additionally, I have the knowledge to ask the right questions of vendors to glean information that will helpful in making your own vendor selections if you feel more comfortable.
We can and have out of necessity, but let me assure you that 9 1/2 times out of 10, I will personally walk your venue(s). I like to know what's in your path, what's in your guests path, where the restrooms are, what visual conflicts are there, where the trash cans are and will they end up in photos, how much time will you need to walk from point A to point B and many other questions that go into planning a great event.
